SOUS CHEF 70M + MY
We are currently looking for a talented Female Sous Chef to join a 70m+ private motor yacht with a dual-season program by mid-late March. The yacht is currently in the Caribbean and will be returning to the Mediterranean in Spring. This permanent position will see you working alongside the Head Chef, preparing meals for both crew (17) and up to 12 guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Cook for 17 crew members and assist the Head Chef in guest meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the galley.
- Assist in menu planning and provisioning.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are followed in the Galley.
Candidate Requirements:
- Female candidate due to cabin arrangements.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the yachting industry is preferred, but candidates with a strong land-based restaurant background will also be considered.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Experience cooking for a crew of 10+ is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Passionate about cooking and able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications Required:
- STCW, ENG1, PDSD, FHL2 + ideally Ship's Cook
