We are seeking an experienced Captain for a 38m new build that was delivered to her owner in 2023. This is the vessels first season. The Captain will also manage the 38m with 7 crew + the Wally 48ft which has a chase boat captain. The vessel will run with a Chief Stewardess, 2 x Stewardesses, Sole Chef (not living on board), Engineer, First officer, and Deckhand. We are looking for a strong leader who can lead a good team.
Required Skills/experience:
• Master 500GT
• Experience on a similar size vessel
• Calm and charismatic personality
• Superior leadership, communication, management and diplomacy skills
• Excellent boat handling and navigational skills
• Excellent ISM and ISPS knowledge and practices
• Excellent maintenance, engineering and technical / troubleshooting experience
• Ability to remain calm and give directions in an emergency situation
• Organized and methodical
• Financial management
• Speaks multiple languages fluently
• New build experience
• Project Management certification or Management degree
• Experience in cruising Med
o Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza etc)
o French Riviera
o Italian Riviera
o Sardinia
o Corsica
Owners usage/requirements:
• Owner expects charter level service even though it is a private service / pleasure vessel
• During peak season (June-September), heavy owner usage and a lot of cruising (either day trips or week long trips)
• Owners do not drink

Salary: 9000 Euros + discretionary bonus
Leave: 30 days leave (+ unpaid leave negotiable)
